1st Hearing: The Jackson Planning Board has received an application for boundary line adjustment Graustein Lane off Thorn Hill Road, between parcel at V9, Lots 24 and 17. The application, submitted by Frank Mueller and Darcy/Radic Family Trust, involves a boundary line adjustment on property. Copies of the boundary line adjustments have been posted at the Jackson Town Office and can be viewed during normal business hours. If you have any questions or concerns, please plan on attending the Planning Board hearing on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 7:00pm at the Jackson Town Office, 54 Main Street, Jackson or via Zoom Meeting ID 826 0497 3185, password 144261. The Public Hearing will begin at 7:10pm.

2nd Hearing: A Public Hearing will be held to present and discuss proposed changes to the Town of Jackson Zoning Ordinance. The Public Hearing will be held after the regularly scheduled meeting at 7 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2023. The meeting will be held at the town office and via zoom.  The Public Hearing will begin at 7:20pm.

Recommended changes to the Town of Jackson Zoning Ordinance will be presented by the Jackson Planning Board for inclusion on the Town Warrant in March. This meeting is open to the public, as the Planning Board seeks public comments on the proposals.

The full text of the recommended changes shall be posted at the Jackson Post Office bulletin boards, and on the Town web site at https://www.jackson-nh.org/planning-board

Addition of a Solar Energy System Ordinance: The discussion will be on a proposed amendment to the Jackson Zoning Ordinance to establish a Solar Energy System Ordinance. The purpose of the ordinance is to accommodate Solar Energy Systems and distributed generations resources in appropriate locations, while protecting the public’s health, safety, and welfare. To help accomplish this purpose, only Roof-mounted or Ground-mounted Solar Energy Systems that are accessory uses, or Community-scale Solar Energy Systems that have Solar Land Coverage of no more than 1 acre are permitted.
