The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Jackson will hold a session to
     -process applications for new voter registration
     -process applications to change party affiliation prior to the next Primary Election
     -process corrections of the checklist on:

Location: Town Offices, Meeting Room, 54 Main Street, Jackson, New Hampshire
 
Party Affiliation Change:

Per the Secretary of State, October 6th is the last date registered voters may change their party affiliation prior to the Presidential Primary. [1] New voters may continue to register until election day, as permitted by law. Note that the date of the Primary Election has not yet been set by the Secretary of State. Voters can fill out party change forms at the Town Office prior to Oct 6. These will be processed at the October 6 session.
 
Voter Registration
Applicants for voter registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may still register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship, and/or domicile.
 
The session may continue past 7:30  to complete any pending actions pertaining to the checklist.

Required  Documentation includes:
  1. CITIZENSHIP: applicant’s birth certificate, passport, naturalization papers. A voter without proof of 
   citizenship may fill out a qualified voter affidavit on election day, at the Supervisors’ session on October 6, at the
   Supervisors’ session on the Saturday before the Primary Election or at the Town Office any time before the
   Saturday prior to the Primary Election.
 2. AGE: any reasonable documentation indicating  the applicant will be 18 years of age or older at the next
   election. An applicant without documentation in his or her possession can use a qualified
   voter affidavit subject to the time constraints above.
3. IDENTITY: Photo driver’s license issued by any state or the federal government, US Passport, photo id
    issued by any state or local government.
4. DOMICILE: The following can be used: a New Hampshire Driver’s license or identification card issued by
    the State, a New Hampshire Resident vehicle registration, picture identification issued by the United States
    government that contains a current address, a government issued check, benefit statement, or tax document.
    Other reasonable documentation includes proof of renting or leasing an abode, purchasing  an abode, enrolling
    the applicant’s dependent child in a publicly funded elementary or secondary school which serves Jackson,
    listing a domicile as the person’s physical residence address on state or federal tax forms, other government
    identification showing the address. Finally, an applicant whose domicile is at the abode of another and whose
    name is not listed on the document offered as proof of domicile may provide a  written statement from a person
    who is listed as owner, property manager, or tenant on the document that the applicant resides at that  address,
    signed by that person under penalty of voting fraud if false information is provided.
