Please join the Friends of the Jackson Public Library for "Jigsaw Puzzles and the Story Behind the White Mountain Puzzle Company" by local business owner Colin Wroblewski on Sunday evening March 18th at 7 pm at the Jackson Public Library, located at 52 Main Street in Jackson, NH.
Colin will explore the history of the jigsaw puzzle and how it got to be the puzzle that we are all familiar with. Its health benefits and why people are drawn to jigsaw puzzles will be discussed. Colin will explain the manufacturing process: from the inception of the image to the colorful box sitting on the store shelf. He'll bring an assortment of puzzles and "coach" attendees for a few minutes on strategies of putting it together. He'll also share his insights into the future of jigsaw puzzles in this changing world.
Colin Wroblewski is a second generation owner of White Mountain Puzzles, and serves as the finance and operations manager. From its Jackson, NH office the White Mountain puzzle team processes orders from across the country and internationally, selling over a million puzzles around the globe. Being a part of a 35 year old family business, he has the intimate knowledge of how the company got its start and how it evolved to where it is today.
