Jackson voters must be registered in order to cast their votes in these upcoming events in 2020:

February 11th, Tuesday

Presidential Primary

Whitney Community Center

8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

March 5th, Thursday

School District Annual Meeting

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

March 10th, Tuesday

Town Election

A current copy of the voter checklist is posted in the town office.  If you are currently registered and the data on the checklist is up to date, including permanent residence and mailing address, you need to do nothing but show up ready to vote at the Whitney Center unless you are requesting an absentee ballot. 

Party Affiliation changes for the Presidential Primary cannot be made at this time.  The deadline for party affiliation changes was October 25, 2019.

For absentee voting, an absentee ballot must be obtained from the Jackson Town Clerk at the Jackson Town Offices prior to the election and returned to the town clerk either in person or by email or post office delivery by February 10th.

Registration requires proof of age, identity, citizenship and proof of domicile. 

  • Identity and age can be confirmed by photo IDs such as driver’s license or passport.
  • Citizenship is proven by a birth certificate, naturalization papers or passport. 
  • Domicile proof requires documentation, such as, but not limited to, showing the Jackson address on the back of your NH driver’s license, or written confirmation by landlord.  

Please also note that qualified applicants who do not possess or who do not bring proof of qualifications at the time of registration may use an affidavit for proof and will be allowed to vote.
