3/16/2020: A Message from the Town of Jackson Emergency Management Director about COVID-19

To paraphrase Charles Dickens we are now living in uncertain times.  This message is to ensure Town Resident’s that much planning and preparation has been going on for the past few weeks.

I have been meeting regularly with the Selectmen and the heads of all departments and will continue to do so over the next few days and weeks. Protocols and operating guidelines already in place are being reviewed with respect to this particular situation. We are also working with Memorial Hospital.

Anxiety is a perfectly normal and rational response to an unknown. Panic is an irrational response.  We all have to stay calm and prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
