Friends of the Jackson Public Library Programs

Mark your calendars for the next three programs sponsored by Friends of the Jackson Public Library: Jigsaw Puzzles with Colin Wroblewski Sunday March 18th at 7 pm, Trivia! with the Houlihans Saturday March 24th at 3 pm, and Before Peyton Place with Robert Perreault Sunday April 8th at 7 pm. All programs take place at the Jackson Public Library, located at 52 Main Street in Jackson, NH.

Sunday March 18th at 7 pm: Colin Wroblewski of local business White Mountain Puzzle Company will tell us the history of this enduring pastime, and give us details of how jigsaw ipuzzles are manufactured.

Saturday March 24th at 3 pm: Trivia aficionados Edith and Bob Houlihan return for another round of pub-style trivia.  Start recruiting your team now and join the fun.

Sunday April 8th at 7 pm: Before she wrote Peyton Place, author Grace Metalious wrote an autobiographical and ethnically-oriented novel, No Adam for Eden.  Join historian Robert Perreault as he reveals details of Grace’s formative years in Manchester that shaped her writing.  Made possible by a grant from New Hampshire Humanities.

These events are free and open to the public although a $5.00 donation is welcome to offset presenter expenses. For more information, please contact the Jackson Public Library at 603-383-9731
