RE: COVID-19 Update

Residents have been asking for clarifications on several aspects of the implementation of Governor Sununu’s new, modified Stay-at-Home Order that was announced on Friday, May 1st and remains in effect until May 31st . We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents of the following guidelines that remain in effect until May 31st related to our life here in Jackson:
1. Emergency Order #16 is extended to May 31st, which is prohibition of scheduled gatherings of over 10 people. For a complete listing of Emergency Orders go to: https://www.governor.nh.gov/news-media/emergency-orders/index.htm
2. Reviewing guidelines in the COVID-19 Reopening Guidance released by the Governor’s Economic Reopening Taskforce, it is recommended that no gatherings be scheduled in public spaces, such as the Whitney Center Pavilion, Town Gazebo and behind the Jackson Library. 3. All White Mountain National Forest trailheads in Jackson remain open. For more information go to: https://www.fs.usda.gov/whitemountain .
4. The Jackson Falls Parking Area is closed until further notice for the health and safety of visitors and residents.
