With the market changing for recyclables the following is what the mills are currently accepting according to CLEAN TECH Inc.  Please sort accordingly to maximize our revenue:

Material Description: Pigmented  HDPE bottles #2 compiled from municipal curbside collection, sorted to remove undesirable material, and baled for efficient transportation and handling.  A bottle is defined as a container that has a smaller opening than the circumference of the container.
 
Sortation Requirements (Prior to Baling):
•        Accept Criteria- any pigmented HDPE bottles, SPI Code 2, such as laundry detergent, maple syrup containers, coffee containers, etc. including labels and caps.
◦        Bottles are to be no larger than 2.5 gallons or smaller than 5 oz. Containers.
       
•        Reject Criteria- any non-bottle, HDPE or otherwise, such as trays or pails; any non-HDPE , bottle or otherwise, such as PET (Code 1), PVC (Code 3), PLA (Code 7), PP (Code 5), any bottle with biodegradable additives; any non-plastic such as glass, cans, ice, free-flowing liquids, metal, dirt and/or gravel, wood, any hazardous chemical container, any medical waste such as syringe, personal hygiene materials.

Plastic:  Material Description: PET/PETE #1 bottles compiled from municipal curbside collection, sorted to remove undesirable material, and baled for efficient transportation and handling.  A bottle is defined as a container that has a smaller opening than the circumference of the container.
 
Sortation Requirements (Prior to Baling):
•        Accept Criteria- Any transparent clear, green or blue colored PET bottles, SPI Code 1, such as carbonated beverage, water, sports drink, fruit juice, tea, etc. including labels and caps.
•         Bottles are to be no larger than 2.5 gallons or smaller than 5 oz. Containers.
 
•         Reject Criteria- Any non-bottle, PET or otherwise; any not-PET,  bottle or otherwise, such as PVC (Code 3), HDPE (Code 2), PLA (Code 7), PP (Cod 5), any bottle with biodegradable additives, any non-plastic such as glass, cans, ice, free-flowing liquids, metal, dirt and/or gravel, wood, any hazardous chemical containers, any medical waste such as syringes, personal hygiene materials.

Material Description:  Unpigmented HDPE #2 bottles compiled from municipal curbside collection, sorted to remove undesirable material, and baled for efficient transportation and handling.  A bottle is defined as a container that has a smaller opening than the circumference of the container.
 
Sortation Requirements (Prior to Baling):
•         Accept Criteria- any unpigmented HDPE bottles, SPI Code 2, such as milk container, tea container, etc., including labels and caps.
◦         Bottles are to be no larger than 2.5 gallons or smaller than 5 oz. Containers
•         Reject Criteria_ any colored D+HDPEE, any non-bottle, HDPE or otherwise, such as trays or pails, any non-HDPE, bottle or otherwise, such as PET (Code 1), PVC (Code 3), PLA (Code 7), PP (Code 5), any bottle with biodegradable additives; any non-plastic such as glass, cans, ice, free-flowing liquids, metal, dirt and/or gravel, wood, any hazardous chemical containers, any medical waste such as syringes, personal hygiene materials.
 
Plastic film, plastic bags, grocery bags, wood pellet bags, bird food, dog food, cat food bags all go in the trash.
