Library Program: Practices That Grow the Brain

Please join the Friends of the Jackson Public Library for “Practices That Grow the Brain,”  a 2 hour workshop presented by Liz Korabek-Emerson. This program will be held Saturday afternoon January 18th from 2-4 pm at the Jackson Public Library, located at 52 Main Street in Jackson, NH.  

Learn how the practices of mindfulness, gratitude, kindness and compassion can actually grow the grey matter of our brains and help us to become more resilient, emotionally intelligent and even happier! This 2 hour workshop will include instructions for the practices, practical exercises for daily life and discussion.  No mediation experience required.  Everyone is welcome.

Liz Korabek-Emerson, the owner of Korabek Training, holds an MFA in theatre and is a certified mindfulness teacher and wellness coach.  Since 2012 she has been designing and leading mindfulness programs for individuals and organizations, including the Portsmouth Hospital, Beacon Hospice, Liberty Mutual and the Riverwoods Retirement Community.  She  is dedicated to helping people connect to their inherent wisdom, confidence and compassion.
