Garden Club Program October 16

Putting Your Garden to Bed - Answers to all your gardening questions, presented by Paul Parent
noted horticulturist, radio personality, and public speaker, will be brought to Jackson by the Mountain Garden Club for its October Lunch & Learn program.

“Good Morning, Gardeners” may be a familiar greeting to many of our members. Paul Parent has hosted the popular Paul Parent Gardening Club for more than 25 years. More than a half million listeners tune in each Sunday to hear his common sense gardening information. Getting our gardens ready for winter, with all its dangers of freezing and thawing, is a challenge, and often creates new questions.
Paul will share his extensive knowledge with our group, focusing on the timely “putting our gardens to bed,” but he will also provide ample time for answering individual questions. Lunch will be provided at the Red Fox Grille, 49 Route 16, in Jackson. The Club’s business meeting will begin ON OCTOBER 16 at 10:30 AM, and the Lunch and Program at 11:30 AM.
While this program is open to all, advance reservations are required, with a deadline of October 6th.
The price is $23 for a member, and $25 for a non-member; Contact Deborah Bryant (603-447-2376; for reservations.
